As a team manager in Specialist CAMHS, Satty leads on the mental health outcomes for children, young people and their families within Southampton.
Previously a team manager at the NSPCC, Satty saw a job advert for a the role of a CAMHS Team Manager and thought "what a great opportunity not only for me to develop and gain new skills/knowledge but also to utilise my transferable skills".
As a team manager within specialist CAMHS, Satty and the rest of the leadership team lead on the mental health outcomes for children, young people and their families within Southampton.
"I am responsible for the smooth running of the team, budget management and performance monitoring of our skilled workforce".
For Satty, one of the best things about working in CAMHS are her colleagues, "I feel very privileged to be working with such a skilled team from a multi-disciplinary background".
