Staff Networks
Within CAMHS Academy at Hampshire and Isle of Wight
Our staff networks provide a space for connection, support, conversation, and reflection. Anyone who works for for us, either in permanent role or on a bank contract, is welcome to join any or all of the networks.
The networks host safe spaces for core members only and group meetings for all members, colleagues and allies.
LGBTQ+ Staff Network
The LGBTQ+ staff network provides a space for LGBTQ+ staff and allies to come together and talk, share and connect with each other in a safe and positive environment.
Our network promotes a working environment where all LGBTQ+ staff feel supported, valued and able to be themselves without fear of prejudice. We also enable staff to achieve their potential, challenge discrimination and positively promote equality and acceptance
MultiFaith Staff Network
Our MultiFaith staff network supports people to enable them to flourish in our workplaces. We bring staff together to celebrate all beliefs, faiths or cultures.
This network shares knowledge and encourages staff to feel safe to express their faith in the workplace. We offer a safe space for everyone to have a time for reflection and stillness. Paying attention to our spirituality is a key element of on-going mental wellbeing.
Carers Staff Network
Our Carers staff network provides a supportive environment to staff who are carers. This network serves as a source of information, a means to improve well-being and an opportunity for peer-group support for carers at different stages of their caring journey.
Disability Staff Network
Our Disability staff network provides a safe space for any disabled colleague to connect and receive support.
We also offer a welcoming, informative space for those who are interested in creating positive workplace practices. This includes an inclusive workplace for those with any type of disability.
50+ Staff Network
The 50+ staff network is a proactive space for connection, support, advocacy, action and education for staff aged 50+. We meet regularly throughout the year and collaborate to explore issues that have been raised and that are important to our colleagues.
We are about inspiring change and making sure our Trust is age inclusive, with a focus on health and wellbeing, addressing inequalities and challenging stigma.
Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Staff Network
The Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority (BAME) staff network supports its members, BAME colleagues and allies, to aid our organisation in moving its commitment to race equality, diversity and inclusion.
We host weekly ‘safe space’ sessions for BAME colleagues and quarterly BAME and allies meetings. If you are a colleague that identifies as being part of ethnic minorities, or you would like to be an ally, join our network where your voices are heard.
