About the team...
This role is based within an acute hospital setting where young people are treated for significant and enduring mental health difficulties including managing eating disorders, high risk self- harm and numerous other complexities including trauma and neurodiverse presentations. Staff provide care for the 24 hours a day in shifts and work with children and young people, their families and the systems around them to support a safe discharge with improved mental health. They offer therapeutic interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, support activities of daily living, safe treatment, monitoring of prescribing on presentation and have the opportunities to build relationships often over a significant length of time.
